Education businesses need to connect with their customers more effectively. Relationships are key to improved outcomes for schools, students and the businesses serving them.

Rebekah Laine helps education businesses connect with their customers. Building relationships is key to improved outcomes for schools and the businesses that serve them.

My mission is to help companies with great products or services - the right ones for each school - become truly embedded in practice, stopping (or at least slowing) EdTech churn.
Why is that good for schools?
Each new 'solution' implemented in schools takes more teacher time, detracting rather than enabling great teaching and learning.
Why is that good for businesses?
Prioritising relationships and retention over new business improves the value proposition and enables sustainable growth.

Translating Education, for Business
In 2024, I completed my MA thesis on discourses in changing education policy and graduated, before leaving the London-based scale-up where I led International Partnerships and Marketing. Before this, I taught and led Secondary (High School) Science.
I bring new perspectives to education businesses by leveraging a range of analytical tools and frameworks from my academic background, while relating with educators to uncover their needs - and potential solutions.
Forming bridges between school actors and business partnerships enables marketing communications which resonate, powerful product developments, leading to customer advocacy and referrals.

Rebekah worked closely with several key accounts to ensure successful implementation of our platforms, and to turn customers into advocates... her strong communication skills meant she became a key part of our marketing strategy [which she went on to lead] — copywriting and editing for social media and email campaigns, website marketing, and brochures. She also delivered training sessions as part of the onboarding process, and at conferences.
Rebekah is deeply knowledgeable about the education sector, and would be an asset to any organisation who shares her passion for ensuring the best experience for stakeholders.
